On August 7th, 2000, when the Internet was just beginning to become a household staple, DeviantArt.com launched and became a home for artists worldwide. Twenty years later, we're honored to still be a place for creative people to find kindred spirits and share their work. Beautiful art and equally beautiful friendships have developed between these digital walls.
That's what makes this place so special. Whether you've been here f

Covid-19 madness continues...
I really didn't plan to write anything else after my last Corona journal, but people just won't stop with the stupidity. No matter if you watch TV shows, the news or read articles online you're immediately confronted with angry, demonstrating or arrogant people who blurt their half-wisdom and conspiracy theories all over the place.
You're probably tired of these discussions already, but here we go.
- „Wake up, sheeple, don't be asleep anymore and see what's really happening!“
This hits a particular nerve because I consider myself a spiritual person and „being awake“ or„waking up“ means rising to a new le
The current global situation has required many deviants to stay at home, while many more continue working – putting themselves at risk – in order to ensure the safety and well-being of others. Though this situation has undoubtedly complicated how we live our lives, it also allows for introspection, and a chance to appreciate things around us that might otherwise have gone unnoticed. With that in mind, we want to bring a little positivity to your day, and we also want to hear about what’s brought cheer to you recently! Here are some things that have made us smile recently: “Animal Crossing has made me smile for three days straight! Meeting with friends in their town square and trading fruits and items has made me feel more connected.” - @Ikue “FaceTiming with friends.” - @TurnedoutTV “Getting rid of all the micro USB cords I've hoarded throughout the years.” - @jezreeljay “The National Puppy Day strip on the Browse page!” - @Moonbeam13 “When my kids go to sleep I smile a lot.”

My name is Caitlin. I'm 24 years old, I was born on October 6, and I have high functioning autism (Asperger's Syndrome). I draw some random shit. I also make icons and stamps.
Tag me. I got sick of those things.* Ask me to join in a contest. I don't do those.* Post chain letters on my comment box.* Steal my art without me knowing. Ask me to comment on your drawing or profile or watch you so you can expect me to watch you back. I find it extremely rude and pushy.* Send me notes thanking me for the fave, watch, or llama because I end up getting blank notes. I also use my notes for private convos. Also, please don't do it on my deviations, journals or status updates as it doesn't relate to what I'm talking about on my status, journals and on my deviations. Instead, do it on my comment box on my profile.
*I consider those things to be spammy, so please don't do it. I will mark it as spam.
